The color is as shown in the images with the first image capturing the best color.. This Treated Ruby is actually opaque and not transparent yet still has the look of a fine High quality Ruby. This Ruby has been treated with the latest permanent treatment. A Ruby/ glass like material is injected into the natural flaws effectively filling them and making them invisible to the naked eye. A natural ruby this color and grade would easily sell for $20,000. Most filled Natural Rubies have a lighter red color. This is a deep red color.

PLATING FINISH:
All Platinum, 14K white gold, 18K white gold jewelry (rings, bracelets, pendants and Earrings) will be finished with a Super Bright White Rhodium plating. This is a standard practice in the entire industry. If you do not want the final plating please let us know in advance.
This applies only to white metals. All other metals are never plated, but left in the natural state.
