The stone in the images is the one being offered. It is an absolutely stunning, LARGE green natural untreated Aquamarine. I have set this in a Cathedral style solitaire setting to help present the stone and also to allow as much light as possible to enter the stone.
Color as shown. Rich green color, more of a minty green. The most accurate color is captured in the one image that shows the stones loose next to the ring. The fifth image. Great cut and brilliance. Please note that no matter how well I try, I can never capture the true beauty of this gemstone so please realize that the gemstone will look a lot better in person and the these images do nothing for the gemstone.

Measures: 15.47 x 9.78mm
Clarity: Slightly included. Eye clean when viewed from the top down, but this stone does have inclusions which can be seen with the naked eye when the stone is looked at up close. The inclusions are just that, inclusions. This is a type II gemstone that is a member of the beryl family that also includes emeralds. Inclusions, or natural flaws in the crystal are normal. Even with these inclusions the stone is not one that you will ever find. A rare and highly sought after color, especially in this large size. Please do not inquire about finding one like this without inclusions. Believe me I have looked for them in all the large gem shows. The few I did locate were much smaller and would cost a lot more.
Origin: Brazil. Old stock from over 15 years ago.
Weight of ring: 8.5 grams. Will vary depending on ring size ordered. Shank is over 7mm wide at it's widest point.

PLATING FINISH:
All Platinum, 14K white gold, 18K white gold jewelry (rings, bracelets, pendants and Earrings) will be finished with a Super Bright White Rhodium plating. This is a standard practice in the entire industry. If you do not want the final plating please let us know in advance.
This applies only to white metals. All other metals are never plated, but left in the natural state.
